As you reach Sankri, the village will blanketed in snow, its rooftops adorned with icicles that illuminate like diamonds in the rays of the morning sun. The sight was surreal, and I marvelled at the untouched beauty of nature. You will well equipped with the elements to defend against the winter climate obstacles as per the given instructions. The journey into the wilderness of the mist and forest will officially begin the next morning. Bundled up in layers of clothing, we will set off towards our first campsite, Juda Ka Talab. The path is both charming and challenging, with each foot sinking into the soft snow, but the adrenaline pumping through your veins will keep you moving forward. The forest around you is tranquil, save for the chirping of birds and the soft crunch of our boots in the snow.

Approaching Juda Ka Talab is like unfolding a mysterious tale in the Puranas. The frozen lake, surrounded by towering trees draped in snow, looked like a frozen dreamland. It’s also a substantial camping spot; you will be able to feel the sky painted in hues of orange and pink by the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the frozen landscape. Sitting around the campfire that night, more glistening stars hanging than you have ever seen, these moments will engraved in your mind forever.
